We’ve had no shortage of things to talk about in this week’s news, from George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the Trayvon Martin trial to the outrage over Rolling Stone’s Boston bomber cover. In other news, we can’t say we didn’t see it coming, but Detroit also filed for bankruptcy this week, with Andrew W.K. and others offering their condolences and some “told-ya-so”s.
While the party may be over for Detroit, it was in full swing this weekend at Comic-Con, where plenty of exciting news kept rolling in. Batman shared a few snarky tweets from the convention and even commented on a future collaboration with the Man of Steel (you heard about the upcoming Batman-Superman movie, right?), with Chaucer and Patton Oswalt’s “Edgar Allen Poe” checking in as well. Check out some of our favorite tweets of the week, here.
