You can pass the time until the Season Four premiere of Game of Thrones with this 8-bit videogame.
The multi-level game takes you through Westeros one side-scrolling screen at a time. It’s based on both the TV show and the books by George R. R. Martin. You even get the chance to play the game as Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister and Davos Seaworth. Did we mention the soundtrack includes 8-bit versions of “Game of Thrones” and “The Rains of Castamere”?
Abel Avles, the game’s creator, is a Uruguay-based programmer and comic artist. He enlisted pixel artist Carl Olsson to help with some of the art and Floating Point to create the 8-bit soundtrack.
