Kanye West took to his Twitter soapbox on tonight to show the world that they better not mess with him.
The rapper-producer sent out a 10-Tweet missive towards Jimmy Kimmel after the late-night talk show host included a parody of West’s recent interview with BBC on the Sept. 25 episode of his show.
Within the span of a mere-but-destructive 56 minutes, West Tweeted viciously about everything from Kimmel’s “crazy-[looking]” face to his skills as a comedian, which West added are subpar to Sarah Silverman’s.
West capped his all-caps Twitter rampage by posting two images that were certainly less-than-kind. One featured Kimmel’s face with the words “no good pussy.” The other featured a rainbow-wielding Spongebob Squarepants with the phrase “Jimmy Kimmel Face Motherfucker.”
Hollywood Life reports that West’s fury stemmed from the fact that the BBC interview Kimmel lampooned was about his daughter, North West.
During the interview, West commented that he thought that paparazzi should have to pay a fee to take pictures of celebrities, which would make his daughter wealthy by the time she reached age six.
Kimmel interpreted West’s suggestion differently than he evidently intended. The talk show host used two child actors to illustrate his spin on West’s comments in the video spoof of the interview.
The host also responded to West’s Twitter attacks with the observation that “apparently, [Kanye West] is very, very angry with me” and the promise that he would “tell the whole story about [Kanye West] tonight on the show.” Later, he Tweeted a threat to unfollow West on Twitter.
Then again, who knows. Maybe it’s one of Kimmel’s elaborate pranks. Check out the video below.
