Paste is expanding its coverage of comedy, books, drinks and fashion/design and is looking for a few folks to help us out.
All the following positions are part-time (approximately 2 hours/day), freelance and remote.
Assistant Comedy Editor
Pay: $500/month
Requirements: A good sense of humor and familiarity with contemporary comedians, Internet memes and other sources of comedy. The ability to be funny, to write conversationally, to edit for style and grammar, and to generate good ideas for comedy features and blog posts. Familiarity with basic CMS preferred (we use Moveable Type).
Job Description: Each month, to assign and edit lists, reviews, features, galleries, short blog posts and news items to our stable of freelance writers.
Note: Any writing the comedy editor does will be paid on a per-piece base in addition to the monthly editor’s stipend.
Assistant Drinks Editor
Pay: $500/month
Requirements: An expert knowledge of craft beer and liquor and some familiarity with wine. The ability to be funny, to write conversationally, to edit for style and grammar, and to generate good ideas for drinks features and blog posts. Familiarity with basic CMS preferred (we use Moveable Type).

Assistant Design/Fashion Editor

The ability to be funny, to write conversationally, to edit for style and grammar, and to generate good ideas for books features and blog posts. Familiarity with basic CMS preferred (we use Moveable Type).
