Jonás Cuarón’s film Gravity soared to the top of box office rankings last week, and the screenwriter is back at it again.
Cuarón is set to write the script for the Warner Bros. feature The Lost City, which will center on the mythical underwater city of Atlantis, Variety reports.
Originally, Warner Brothers studio wanted Peter Jackson to write the film’s screenplay but opted for Cuarón after his success with Gravity.
Akiva Goldsman will produce along with Torry Tunnell and Joby Harold of Safehouse Pictures. In addition, Cuarón will soon begin work on the feature Desierto, his debut as a director.
