Singer/songwriter and actress Rita Ora is following in the footsteps of fellow British fashion icons Stella McCartney and David Beckham by designing a line for sportswear brand Adidas. Ora reportedly landed the job after speaking with her friend, longtime Adidas contributor and American designer Jeremy Scott, about her desire to design according to Grazia Daily. However, reports from Vogue state Adidas has yet to confirm the collaboration.
If the reports are true, this is just one of many fashion projects Ora has going on. The pop star has been rumored to be working with friend Cara Delevingne on a line for Topshop and is coming out with a lipstick and nail polish collection—á la Kate Moss—for British cosmetics line Rimmel. Ora is also no stranger to sportswear. She is currently starring in an ad campaign for American label DKNY for whom she also closed their Spring/Summer 2014 show.
