It might not star the Bluth family, but NBC’s newest comedy series will likely feature just as much dysfunction. The network has picked up Jason Bateman’s newest comedy series Two to Go, says Deadline. Bateman’s Aggregate Films company initially had a first-look deal on the half-hour series, which centers on two single, middle-aged friends who slip behind as their friends mature toward marriage and family life.
Bateman and James Garavente will executive produce alongside writers Bryan Shukoff and Kevin Chesley. No word yet on the show’s casting or if Bateman will play a role in the series, though the show does have a tentative label as an ensemble cast project.
