Following a three-month prison sentence and subsequent house arrest for failure to pay taxes on over $1 million of income, Lauryn Hill has announced her plans to perform live once again. Pitchfork reports that Hill will play two shows at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on Nov. 27, with further details forthcoming.
Hill also released the track “Consumerism” back in October to celebrate her release. She recently signed a record deal with Sony Music to help reduce her debt, and she intends to release a five-song EP and a full album in the future. You can listen to the track below:
