Jonah Hill hosting Saturday Night Live was happenstance, then coincidence and now it’s become a regular occurrence. Earlier today SNL tweeted that the The Wolf of Wall Street star will return to Studio 8H for his third tour of duty as host on January 25. It will be the show’s second episode of 2014, and feature musical guest Bastille. Hill has previously hosted in 2008 and 2012, and may provide some stability as the show’s cast continues to change/get criticized/change to meet that criticism/overshadow this season’s actual sketches.
SNL also announced Drake will pull double-duty as musical guest (because of hits like “Worst Behavior”) and host (because of that four minute comedy sketch wedged in the middle of the “Worst Behavior” video?) for the show’s return from the holidays on January 18.
You already know about @Drake on the 18th, and we're excited to announce @JonahHill will return to host Jan 25th w/ music from @BASTILLEdan!— Saturday Night Live (@nbcsnl) January 6, 2014
