Last month, we told you about a giant development agreement comedian Louis C.K. signed with FX, and today that deal has borne its first schlubby, ginger-bearded fruit. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Louis C.K.’s Pig Newton production company has made its first sale to the network, a comedy pilot starring Hangover star Zach Galifianakis.
Few details are known about the currently untitled project, other than it was created by Galifianakis and will be co-written by C.K. But given the two comedians’ highly idiosyncratic bodies of work, it’s hard to imagine the union resulting in something that isn’t hilarious and wonderfully strange.
