50/50’s Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen are set to reunite for an untitled Sony Christmas comedy. The duo will be working under writer and director Jonathan Levine, who also collaborated on 50/50 with the two stars.
Not much is known about the movie yet, but we do know it’s about “three childhood friends” who “renew their old tradition of going out on Christmas Eve” in New York City. The third friend hasn’t been cast, but maybe one of Rogen’s pals (say James Franco, Jay Baruchel or even Danny McBride?) will end up in the mix. The film is set to begin production this summer.
