We’ve seen partnerships with Alexander McQueen, Missoni, Proenza Schouler, and Zac Posen. We’ve counted down for Prabal Gurung and Jason Wu. We’ve even waited in line for Jean Paul Gaultier and Neiman Marcus. And now, only four months following the release of its collaboration with Phillip Lim, Target has officially unveiled its new line of women’s apparel and accessories from design duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos.
The Pilotto and de Vos label was an obvious next step for Target, despite its relatively recent 2007 arrival on the style scene. The British label is currently being sold in over 49 countries in 220 luxury stores, and is a recognized favorite of Miranda Kerr, Cate Blanchett and First Lady Michelle Obama.
Pilotto and de Vos focus this collection on heavy geometric an floral prints, making a signature statement with bright patterns and neon colors. Skirts, dresses and sweatshirts all mix patterns to announce the start of spring, but the best part is a finance-friendly price range that begins and ends in double-digits—a monumental reduction to the three or four-digit tags at Pilotto’s regular retailers. (I’m looking at you, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, and Net-A-Porter.)
As with most designer collaborations, the line is selling out quickly. The moto jacket and strapless jacquard dress have already sold out online, but fortunately, the shoes, accessories, and tops are available with almost full size runs available in each style.
