Last month, Nickel Creekannounced their highly anticipated reunion, which will include the release of a new album titled A Dotted Line and a spring tour. The bluegrass trio dropped a new single from A Dotted Line today titled “21st of May.”
“Sean wrote this song on May 20, 2011, the day before the supposed rapture as predicted and advertised by Bay Area pastor Harold Camping (whose point of view he sings it from),” the band wrote on Facebook.
The new album is set for an April 1 release and is available to pre-order now. With a pre-order, you’ll receive an instant download of two other songs on the album, “Love of Mine” and “Destination.” Nickel Creek’s tour will kick off on April 5 in New York, N.Y. and includes several stops at summer music festivals, including Forecastle Festival, Newport Folk Festival and Pickathon.
