Professional cool uncle Bill Murray has once again saved a perilously Murray-less news week, crashing a South Carolina couple’s engagement shoot and probably saving the institution of marriage itself. Charleston photographer Raheel Gauba was snapping pictures of Erik Rogers and Ashley Donald for Fia Forever Wedding Photography last month when Murray chose assert his god-like omnipresence in the chillest way possible.
“I thought who the heck is bothering them,” Gauba told The Post and Courier. “I turn around and it’s Bill Murray with his shirt up, belly out, tapping his belly and trying to make them laugh.” Like the reverse-Bigfoot he is, Murray then offered to pose with the couple, who, as Internet law dictates, had no choice but to accept.
The comedian last made headlines in May when he dropped wisdom on a random bachelor party. If this trend continues, the next logical location for a Murray sighting is on a first date, so keep a lookout on Tinder for any oddly approachable SNL alumni.
