Leonardo Da Vinci once said, “Why does the eye see a thing more clearly in dreams than in the imagination when awake?”
Releasing on July 18th, 2014, I Origins, winner of the Alfred P. Sloan award for science and technology at the Sundance Film Festival, explores the infinite and spiritual nature of the human eye. I Origins was written and directed by Mike Cahill (known for his 2011 award-winning science fiction feature, Another Earth). Michael Pitt stars as a micro-biologist whose discoveries about the human eye may alter the structure of society.
In anticipation for the film, we have compiled a collection of unaltered micro-photography pictures of the human eye that might very well blow your mind. Seeing is believing.
