Thug Kitchen, the popular blog that aims to inspire your “narrow dietary minded ass,” to eat your vegetables and explore healthy eating, will soon be a cookbook.

The aptly named Thug Kitchen: Eat Like You Give a F*ck will feature more than 100 original recipes from the L.A.-based duo behind the blog, including lime cauliflower tacos, pumpkin chili, and grilled peach salsa. The book will also feature advice on shopping smarter and cooking faster. It also promises to “drop some knowledge about veggies, and lots of other dope shit to help you elevate your nutritional game.“

Like the blog, the cookbook aims to encourage you to take healthy eating seriously, and does so in a very comical way. “No more ketchup and pizza counting as vegetables. No more drive-thru lines. No more avoiding the produce corner of the supermarket. Sh*t is about to get real.”

Thug Kitchen, the blog, posts weekly recipes with language and a tone that are a far cry from a Julia Child cookbook, and it’s working. The blog has gained quite the following and praise since launching in 2012, including being named Saveur Magazine’s Best New Food Blog of 2013.

The book will be released in October and is currently available for pre-order.
