You may have seen one inconspicuously rooted in a neighbors’ front lawn or boldly planted in a public space; Little Free Libraries are popping up faster than we can say “No library fines!” Most LFL’s follow a basic aesthetic: a small box, with a door, containing books. Others, like the ones we’ve rounded up above, take a more unique approach. The following LFL’s are extraordinary in a variety of ways, from their unique architectural materials to their creative interpretations of a few not-so everyday objects. We’re sure that borrowing a book from one of these Little Free Libraries makes the experience quite noteworthy.
