The Foo Fighters Announce North American Tour Dates and Anti-Scalping Effort

The Foo Fighters  are embarking on an extensive world tour in support of their latest album, Sonic Highways, and have just shared a big batch of upcoming North American dates for 2015. The U.S./Canada leg of the tour will start on July 4 in Washington, D.C. and visit 26 other cities before concluding in Memphis on Oct. 7.

The band will also attempt to limit ticket scalping for their U.S. tour by holding a “Beat the Bots; day on Nov. 22, when fans will be able to pre-purchase tickets in person at box offices nationwide. After that, an online pre-sale will take place on Dec. 1 before tickets are made available to the wider public on Dec. 4 and 5.

The Foo Fighters  are also profiled in the Dave Grohl-directed Sonic Highways documentary series, currently airing Fridays on HBO, which follows the band as they explore the history of American music in cities around the country. You can check out the stops on the Sonic Highways tour below.
