Earlier this week, Sylvester Stallone gave fans of the Rambo series what they had been waiting for: he confirmed a fifth Rambo film. The film is titled Last Blood, which likely means this is the final Rambo film, completing the cycle started in 1982’s First Blood.
Stallone made the announcement via Twitter, letting fans know his filming schedule. He is currently in Philadelphia revisiting his role as Rocky Balboa in Creed. After Creed he will be taking on the John Rambo sequel before portraying gangster Greg Scarpa in the biopic Scarpa.
The actor also posted a picture of his writing desk, hinting that he may be working on the Last Blood script. As of yet there is no indication whether Stallone will return to the director's chair, as he did for 2008's Rambo.
