Everyone’s favorite profanity-slinging teddy bear has returned. Universal Pictures released the first trailer for Ted 2 today, and it’s pretty much everything you would have expected it to be. With Seth MacFarlane (as Ted) and Mark Wahlberg (as John Bennett) at the helm, the sequel to Ted which grossed $549.4 million globally, stands poised to make bank again.
From what can be gathered from the trailer, the basic premise of the plot is that Ted and his girlfriend Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth) get married and are ready to start a family. There is just one problem: They have to prove to a court-of-law that Ted is a real person in order to adopt a child. The trailer goes onto show the mishaps that happen when Ted and John meet and befriend a lawyer Samantha Jackson (Amanda Seyfried), try to get donation at a sperm bank, and prove once and for all that Ted is just like everyone else. The movie which has a June 26 release date, will also star Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.
