Remember when you were 3 years old? And your fashion statements were essentially your bathing suit, some stained OshKosh B’gosh overalls and a winter coat so large you could barely move in because you’d grow into it? Kids today are no longer so sartorially challenged, if the occasional “Today In Microfashion” on Humans Of New York is to be believed.
At the top of all her fashion-minded peers and like the most adorable of Pied Pipers, we have London Scout of Scout In The City. While calling Scout a fashion blogger herself might be pushing it—her equally stylish mother does all the typing—there’s no denying that the kid has serious style.
Perhaps what is most remarkable about Scout is that while her outfit and posing evoke a more worldly model—one about to enter second grade, say—her winning attribute is her innocence. To Scout, fashion is just playing dress-up. We could all learn quite a bit from that.
You can see more Scout playing dress-up on her site, and on her Instagram.
