Harley Quinn fans rejoice—the Joker’s on-and-off flame is confirmed for several DC Comics films after Suicide Squad.
Margot Robbie, the Aussie actress who will play Quinn in the upcoming film, has confirmed that she is signed for a multi-picture deal. Although the number of films is still a question-mark, the actress revealed that she is signed on for 10 years as Dr. Harleen Quinzel.
“You don’t need to have commitment issues to be frightened by the fact that you might have just signed 10 years of your life away,” Robbie told AZCentral. “But with her, it’s a character I don’t think would ever get boring. Ever. So if they did ‘Suicide Squad One,’ ‘Two’ and ‘Three,’ I would be over the moon about it.”
Warner Bros. Suicide Squad also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Jared Leto as the Joker and Jai Courtney as Boomerang. The film is slated for release Aug. 5, 2016.
