We still have close to two months before the new season of Game of Thrones arrives—complete with deaths that aren’t even in the books here’s something to tide you over in the meantime. Behold: Two deleted scenes from last season. The first involves the sellsword Bronn and Tyrion’s lover Shae, who has just been sent away to Pentos. It’s actually pretty cool—Bronn tries to school her on the realities of life (“Have you ever seen an old sellsword?...we have to adapt to circumstances”), and there’s a moment of epiphany for Shae that makes it seem very much like she’s taking the exact wrong message from his words—one that will end very badly for her:
The second scene features everyone’s favorite, Daenery’s Targaryen, being comforted by Missandei after she’s exiled Jorah Mormont. Less essential, probably, but look at that cinematography! And look how badass Dany can be!
GoT returneth on Sunday, April 12.
