The party game for horrible people is showing its actually for humanity by debuting a special science-themed expansion pack on Monday aimed at benefiting a STEM scholarship for women.

The 30-card pack is co-authored by Zach Weinersmith of Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal and Phil Plait of Bad Astronomy, selling for $10 online with proceeds going to the new Cards Against Humanity Science Ambassador Scholarship.

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of 40 women who hold degrees or work in STEM-related fields, with scholarships expected to cover full tuition for a period of up to four years. Cards Against Humanity hopes to begin accepting applications as soon as the next college admissions cycle.

“Women are underrepresented in science, tech, engineering, and math,” said Cards Against Humanity co-creator Josh Dillon, “and we felt like the funding from this pack could have the greatest impact by making it possible for more women to get an education in those fields, and by giving them a platform to share their work and their passion for science.”

Cards Against Humanity has a history of donating more than $2 million to various organizations, including Wikimedia Foundation, the Sunlight Foundation and DonorsChoose.org.

Aspiring applicants can register here to be notified when the application opens.
