Geillis and Claire are down in the thieve’s hole awaiting their witch trial while their men are off to Dougal’s house. Of course, Geillis doesn’t know the peril they are in, but Claire quickly tells her. The two find an unlikely hero in Ned Gowan, but in the end someone admits to loving Satan. There’s also a major turning point in Claire and Jamie’s relationship, which solidifies their path together.
