Atlanta Food & Wine Festival began with Elizabeth Feichter and Dominique Love, two friends and entrepreneurs with plenty of experience in fundraising and philanthropy. Inspired by a campaign for Food & Wine magazine and a subsequent trip to the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, the duo set out to start something in Atlanta to showcase Southern cuisine.
In the five years since its debut, Atlanta Food & Wine has already become a mainstay in the culinary calendar, attracting vendors from all over the Southeast and bragging an impressive increase in attendees every year. This year, we at Paste ventured out to the festival to see what all the fuss was about, and there was plenty to gush over. From Mississippi seafood to Alabama barbecue and even some familiar faces (we’re looking at you, Revolution Doughnuts & Fox Bros Bar-B-Q), here are 10 of the best bites Paste found at Atlanta Food & Wine 2015.
