Video: Scaredy-Cat Flies on the Wing of a Plane

Cats are known to curl up on your chest, but this fur ball seems to have found a warmer spot—on the wing of an airplane.

The stowaway clearly found the wing pretty cozy, that is, until two people boarded their glider at an aviation training school in Kourou, French Guiana. Neither the pilot nor passenger checked for felines—possibly grounds for a new rule in aviation handbooks—and didn’t even notice the cat until mid-flight, a few-hundred feet off the ground, when the scaredy-cat sought safety from the pair.

For much of the flight, the cat clung onto the bars that support the wings, and the pilot carefully landed the aircraft. Reports from Australia’s 9news indicate the cat is safe and well. The best part is, the cat seemed to thoroughly enjoy the flight, after a few worried meows.
