Former Disney star Selena Gomez will be starring in the sequel to Neighbors, according to Variety.
Gomez will star alongside Seth Rogen, Zac Efron,Chloe Grace Moretz and Rose Byrne in the sequel to this raunchy comedy.
The Spring Breakers star’s role is unknown, though she was spotted on the set of the film, which is shooting in Atlanta, Ga., wearing a short pink dress, according to Hollywood Life.
Neighbors, which starred Efron, Rogen and Byrne, focused on a young couple with a newborn baby whose lives are disrupted when a fraternity moves in next door. The Radners, played by Rogen and Byrne, will do anything to get their noisy, rambunctious neighbors to move out.
There are no details on the plot of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, but the name implies a sorority could be the next group to move in next to the Radners. Gomez’s role could presumably be that of a sorority girl.
Nicholas Stoller, director of Neighbors, will return to direct the sequel. The film will be produced by Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver under the banner, Point Grey Pictures. Andrew Jay Cohen and Brenden O’Brien will executive produce alongside Nathan Kahane and Joe Drake. Cohen, O’Brien, Rogen, Stoller and Goldberg will co-write the film.
Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising will hit theaters May 20, 2016.
