Kim Kardashian’s book Selfish proved people would pay money just for pictures of her face, so it stands to reason they would pay money to color in her face. Christina Lee, a graphic designer from Pittsburgh, released a coloring book she designed from Kim’s photos.
“There’s been a resurgence in coloring books for adults, and I was surprised that Kim Kardashian didn’t have one yet—U.S. pop culture is incredibly saturated with her image,” Lee told Fader.
If you look through the book, it’s pretty terrifying, though we really wouldn’t have it any other way. Definitely adding it to my Christmas list.
Lee goes on predict that the next step in selfies is to for everyone to be able to color them in.
”… It adds another dimension to the entire selfie-taking-experience. That would enable people to modify their appearances in any way. Imagine blue skin and pink hair being a reality for yourself(ie).”
We’ll keep an eye out for the app.
