We’ve got the exclusive premiere of “Johnny,” the latest single from Bloomington, Illinois-based songwriter Dan Hubbard’s upcoming self-titled album, out Feb. 5th, 2016. It’s a cautionary tale about crashing with randos, to say the least.
“We thought someone we were staying with on tour was pretty pissed,” said Hubbard of the track, which was produced in Nashville by Wilco co-founder Ken Coomer. “And while no one actually got shot, we ended up leaving at 4:00 a.m. to sleep in the van. Now I only stay in hotels or with close family or friends.”
