Freedy Johnston: Live at the Paste Studio

New York City-based singer-songwriter Freedy Johnston headed into the Paste Studio recently to record a few songs off of his 2015 album, Neon Repairman, as well as his classic track “Bad Reputation” off of his 1994 major label debut, This Perfect World.

Johnston moved to New York in 1985 from a small town in Kansas. He released his debut album, The Trouble Tree, in 1990 after signing to Bar None Records and followed it up with Can You Fly in 1992, but it wasn’t until This Perfect World that he gained major recognition.
