2 Chainz and Lil Wayne Also Have an Album Out, Overshadowed by Kendrick

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz released their collaborative album Collegrove early this morning in what was a much-hinted-at “surprise release.” Anyone paying attention knew it was coming, so it must chagrin the duo that hip-hop titan Kendrick Lamar surprise released his own album last night as well, though Wayne seems to be taking it in stride.

So while we know, or at least hope, you’ll be listening to untitled unmastered first, you should check out Collegrove after. It’s streaming on all the usual suspects, but is billed as a 2 Chainz solo album for unknown reasons.
