Bruce Springsteen  will release live albums recorded at all 28 of his European “River Tour” dates, of which the Boss has, as of this writing, finished 10. The remaining 18 dates will take place over the next two months and include stops in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Belgium, France and Switzerland. One show a week will be released beginning June 15, and along with mp3 and CD releases, each show will be played on the SiriusXM E Street Radio station. Each live show is available for preorder, and diehard fans who purchase all 28 live albums will receive a 10 percent discount.

Not only will we be able to hear every bit of Springsteen’s European tour, he has also released an official recording of his famed 1990 two-night solo acoustic stint at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium. The shows, which benefitted the Christic Institute, featured six new (at the time) songs, as well as brand new arrangements of the standards from his repertoire. The highlight of those shows, however, was the encore, when Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt joined Springsteen on stage to cover Bob Dylan’s “Highway 61 Revisited” and “Across the Borderline.” The Christic Shows 1990 is available now as a three-CD set and in various digital download formats on Springsteen’s website.
