The mostly punk- and indie-focused, multi-city event Riot Fest has added numerous artists to both its Chicago and Denver lineups. Some of the major acts that have been added include The Flaming Lips, Sleater-Kinney, 2 Chainz, Gogol Bordello and Devotchka.
In addition, the festival also is taking a bit of a reggae bent with the addition of Julian Marley performing Bob Marley and The Wailers’ celebrated LP, Exodus. These bands join the already-announced lineups that include Jane’s Addiction, Morrisey, the original Misfits, Death Cab for Cutie and Ween.
Riot Fest in Denver will take place on Sept. 2-4, while Riot Fest in Chicago will take place on Sept. 16-18. Three-day passes are currently on sale, and single-day passes will go on sale today at 1 p.m. EST. Find ticket info and full lineups here.
