Pokémon GO developer Niantic has shared a post detailing the most common complaints and bugs and known fixes until a patch arrives. Among these problems is the absurd amount of battery that Pokémon GO uses.

“Some devices may experience battery drain while playing Pokémon GO for prolonged periods of time. We are working on a solution,” Niantic wrote. Until such a time arrives, external phone battery sellers are probably quite pleased right now.

Some players have reported that PokéCoins and other purchased items won’t appear in their account. Niantic suggests signing out and then back in. If that doesn’t work, they suggest turning the phone on and off.

On Android devices, if your phone loses connection while making a purchase, you may receive an error message stating, “You already own this item.” Simply power your phone off and on to fix this.

Others are encountering a troubling problem of having their progress reset to level one. Niantic says “You may have inadvertently created two Pokémon GO accounts: one account using Google and one using Pokémon Trainer Club.” To fix this, sign out of your account in settings and sign into your other account.

Niantic also mentioned that they are aware of a bug causing distorted audio, usually when connected to Bluetooth, and are working on a fix.

In regards to bugs related to GPS location, Niantic said they are “constantly working to improve GPS accuracy and stability.” However, GPS accuracy “largely depends on the device you’re using and your signal/connection strength.”

Lastly, developers have heard reports of an error message that reads, “This item is not available in your country.” In response, they suggest making sure that in your Google Wallet settings, your address is in the proper country. If the issue persists, you may have to contact the Google Play support team.

Hopefully a patch fixing these issues will be released soon. With that, and increased server stability, everyone (and we do mean everyone) can get back to collecting Pokémon without interruption.
