Aretha Franklin  announced in a statement Monday that she will be canceling concerts for “the next month or so” due to health concerns, the Associated Press reports. The 74-year-old soul legend is expected to be back on the road by November.

Among the canceled shows is an Aug. 26 performance at the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts near Vienna, Va. Additionally, the singer is set to skip two Radio City Music Hall gigs, including “Tony Bennett Celebrates 90” on Sept. 15, along with a solo show on Sept. 23.

The 18-time Grammy winner was forced to cancel a Las Vegas show last year as a result of exhaustion, making the upcoming cancellations essential. Here’s hoping a little R&R is just what the doctor ordered for a living music legend.
