Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil
has been steadily growing in cult popularity over the last few years, thanks to its clever spin on tried-and-true horror tropes (two scary-looking but innocent hillbillies are mistaken for killers by a bunch of college students) and its two lovable leads, Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine.
Writer-director Eli Craig is back with an idea that looks to recreate that magic with Little Evil, a horror-comedy that’s been picked up by Netflix.
plays Gary who, after marrying Evangeline Lilly’s Samantha, discovers her son is the Antichrist. It’s basically the plot of The Omen, but with Craig at the helm, expect a clever twist to mess with that formula.
Rounding out the cast are Donald Faison, Chris D’Elia, Brad Williams, Bridget Everett, Clancy Brown, Marcus Terrell Smith and Tyler Labine.
Little Evil will hit Netflix sometime in 2017.
