This year marks the 40th anniversary of the classic debut album from the Ramones, 29 minutes of ground-breaking rock’n’roll, recently named the “Greatest Punk Album Of All Time” by Rolling Stone. Rhino has created the ultimate tribute to the band’s landmark debut with the Ramones – 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition 3-CD/1-LP boxed set. Limited and numbered, the set comes packaged in an album-sized hardcover book, with exclusive essays by Mitchell Cohen and album producer Craig Leon, and rare photos by original cover photographer Roberta Bayley.
The vinyl LP features an exclusive mono cut of the album, while the three CDs include a sonically superior remastered stereo version along with a meticulously recreated mono mix of the album, plus a disc of rarities, demos and outtakes, and a third CD including an unreleased live show recorded in Los Angeles at The Roxy in 1976, all produced, mixed, and with remastering supervised by Craig Leon.
To celebrate, Paste and Rhino are giving you the opportunity to win a copy of ‘Ramones – 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition’ box, along with the 33 1/3 Series book on this historic album, written by Nicholas Rombes!
