Good news, everyone: St. Vincent has a new, as-of-yet-untitled album set to come out this spring, which she describes as heralding a “real sea change” in her sound. She unveiled this news in an interview with Guitar World, where she will be featured in their forthcoming January issue.
Between directing a horror film and scoring Kristen Stewart’s short film, Annie Clark sure has been busy. It seems the musician thrives off chaos, though. In the Guitar World interview, she says: “I’ve been able to step back and reflect and not just be in the tour, record, tour, record cycle that I’ve been in for about 10 years.” She goes on to say that it is her “deepest, boldest work” to date.
