The songs on Mothers’ 2016 debut LP When You Walk a Long Distance You Are Tired appropriately sound vulnerable and gorgeously worn, music bound to soulful melodies spun from vocalist Kristine Leschper’s airborne soprano. Live, that aesthetic lends itself to one of the most intimate shows currently touring. The Athens, Georgia four-piece recently stopped by the Brooklyn Bazaar in the Greenpoint neighborhood, where Paste photographer Drew Reynolds captured the show. Check the gallery above for pictures of their soundcheck and sterling performance.
