Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher’s acclaimed rom-com Take My Wife has been renewed for a second season by comedy video-on-demand channel Seeso.

The half-hour, single-camera series follows Esposito and Butcher’s life as a young, same-sex married couple, as they take on their newly domestic roles while also co-hosting an underground stand-up showcase in Los Angeles.

Season one of the show featured a cavalcade of funny people, including Maria Bamford, Jonah Ray, Kulap Vilaysack, James Adomian, Seth Morris, Paul F. Tompkins, Ron Funches, Janet Varney, Matt Braunger, Joe DeRosa and Kurt Braunohler, among many others, plus Zeke Nicholson and Laura Kightlinger as series regulars.

Take My Wife is executive-produced by the real-life married couple, as well as by Scott Aukerman and David Jargowsky for Comedy Bang! Bang! Productions.
