Ubisoft has announced a free three-hour trial of Watch Dogs 2 on consoles.
Already playable on Playstation 4 and available on Jan. 24 for Xbox One, the free demo allows players access to the full game, including co-op and multiplayer, for a limit of three hours. Any progress made will then transfer over to a purchased copy, should players then decide to buy the full game.
Some are speculating that the demo (and the game’s current discounted price of $40) may be a result of the rumored 80 percent plunge in sales compared to the first game, though that figure supposedly only accounts for physical copies sold at the game’s launch.
