Airbnb Offers Free Housing to Those Affected by Immigration Order

Due to President Trump’s recent immigration order, thousands of refugees from restricted countries are now stranded in airports and are, as they have been for the past few years, essentially homeless.

Brian Chesky, CEO of Airbnb, is offering a solution.

“Airbnb is providing free housing to refugees and anyone not allowed in the U.S. Stayed tuned for more, contact me if urgent need for housing,” Chesky tweeted on Saturday.

Airbnb joins other companies in their fight against the order including Lyft and Uber. For those who want to offer their homes as a haven for those affected by the ban, you can sign up here.
