Crash Bandicoot Remastered Trilogy Release Date Announced

Activision announced today that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be out for Playstation 4 on June 30.

The collection contains the first three Crash Bandicoot games from the PS1 era, namely Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The remastered games include new animations, lighting, enhanced cinematics ready for 4K and a remastered soundtrack. Also added to the classic titles will be new and unified checkpoint, save and menu systems, along with full analog stick support (in case you forgot that the original game debuted in 1996).

Developer Vicarious Visions is responsible for updating the games. You can read more about the specific updates, one of which are the time trials added to all three games, right here.

The “remastered plus” collection will only be available for PS4 (or PS4 Pro if you’ve got the TV for it) and will go for $39.99 upon its release. Go ahead and check out the release date announcement trailer below.
