If there's one thing we all love, it's a gang of moshpit-ready, hard partying toddlers tearing it up. Art-rock/glam-punk outfit Fairy Bones brings us all of this and more with their glam-tastic new single and video "Pink Plastic Cups". Fairy Bones ended 2016 on a high note with a choice multi-city support slot on the recent Highly Suspect tour. "Pink Plastic Cups" builds on that momentum, with lead vocalist Chelsey Louise unleashing her ruthless banshee swagger over a primal, irresistible hook that hits hard. The band's sound has developed a sharper, more powerful edge since their glorious, Bob Hoag-produced debut Dramabot, and that added punch makes "Pink Plastic Cups" one of the best singles of the year so far. The video, directed by Chelsey Louise herself, sends up party culture in a hilariously dark way (we're assured that no toddlers were harmed in the filming of this video.) It's a great track and an exciting taste of things to come.
