Bryson Tiller Releases New Album, True to Self, a Month Early

In the spirit of the trend of surprise album drops, R&B innovator Bryson Tiller has released his record an entire month early.

Although True to Self was set to release on June 23 via RCA, the 19 track album dropped last night on all platforms. “I know we said June 23rd… but I say we Set It Off tonight!!” Tiller tweeted, along with a link to the album. He released three songs earlier this month, only one of which—“Somethin Tells Me”—made the final album.

His 2015 debut effort Trapsoul was groundbreaking for its genre, with hits “Don’t” and “Exchange” seeing major success on the R&B and hip hop charts.

You can stream True to Self on Spotify here and on Apple Music here.
