Sweet Crude Share Moving New Video "Mon Esprit"

A few weeks ago, New Orleans 6-piece Sweet Crude caught the eye of Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill, Chicago PD) at New Orleans Jazz Festival, and now they're turning even more heads with an emotional new video for their song "Mon Esprit." The song is set to a stunning black-and-white funeral scene, and features international choreographer Maya Taylor(known for her work with Solange). Watch it now, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeZF88iEhlA

Crafting a unique sound that sets English and Louisiana's native French dialect to decidedly non-Cajun music, seeks to reconnect with their lineage (the band boasts surnames such as Marceaux and Chachere) in the context of 5-part harmonies, tribal rhythms, and pop hooks. They've been heralded by Consequence of Sound, Brooklyn Vegan, Fuse, Washington Post, and more.

Sweet Crude is currently confirmed to perform at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and High Sierra Festival, and will be touring this summer with NPR Tiny Desk Winners Tank and the Bangas
