Last night, indie supergroup BNQT made their television debut performing lead single “Restart” on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Formed in 2013, BNQT is led by Eric Pulido of Midlake and is comprised of the songwriting and vocal expertises of Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell, Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand, Travis’ Fran Healy and Jason Lytle of Grandaddy. And as you’d expect, with that much indie star power packed into one project, the result is reliably melodic, made up of jangly guitar-driven pop songs.
The band’s debut album was released last month via Dualtone and is a 10-track compilation, with each musician contributing two songs.
