Stranger Things rock ‘n’ roller Finn Wolfhard—who plays Mike Wheeler on the Netflix series—hit the stage with Mac DeMarco in Atlanta on Sunday to play guitar on “Still Together.”
DeMarco is on tour to support his recently released This Old Dog, which leaked in mid-April, much to his dismay (he actually didn’t care). Wolfhard and DeMarco share a similar personality, marked by indifference and a general goofiness that make them so charming. 14-year-old Wolfhard has shown love for DeMarco in the past, posting a cover of “Salad Days” to his Twitter. Their onstage collaboration, which you can watch both above and below, was shared via Instagram by Natalia Dyer (his big sister on the show), as well as on YouTube.
Wolfhard will also be starring in a new adaptation of Stephen King’s It, which will hit theaters on Sept. 8. Watch the trailer for the new season of Stranger Things, which is currently in production and will be released on Halloween, here, see Wolfhard perform with Mac above and below, and while you’re at it, listen to a DeMarco performance from the Paste Cloud below.
