New Trailer for Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later Reunites the Original Cast

Netflix is milking Wet Hot American Summer for everything it’s worth. After 2015’s well-received prequel series, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, the counselors will once more return to Camp Firewood. But this time, it’s 10 years after the original film.

Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, like First Day of Camp before it, is helmed by the creators of the original 2001 cult-classic film, David Wain and Michael Showalter. Also returning hotter and wetter than ever is almost the entire original cast. The only notable absence is Bradley Cooper’s Ben, but otherwise it looks we’re getting virtually everybody back, as well as a few new surprises (oh hey, Adam Scott!).

The trailer appears to be more of the same humor that made the original film and prequel series such successes. Set in 1991, the trailer gives a brief glimpse of where all our favorite counselors ended up. Several characters have gone on to surprisingly successful careers, but obviously not all of them. Paul Rudd and his ratty hair look like they’ll steal the show once again. All in all, the trailer gets us excited about yet another stay at the hilariously inane Camp Firewood.

Check out the full trailer above before the limited, eight-episode show launches on Aug. 4 .
